Glow & Grow creates intentional space for Black girlsĀ to embrace and be affirmed in their unapologetic Black brilliance, joy and resiliency. Through connection, education and healing activities, Glow & Grow builds networks among Black girls and bridges opportunities in the community for them to step into their full power and chart successful futures on their own terms.
We do this through:
-
- Regular meetings that include informal conversation (āWhatās the Tea?ā) and facilitated discussion
- Field trips to attend cultural events or other learning experiences
- An annual Glow Up conference that brings Black girls together for a full day of healing activities and connection

-
- What I’ll remember most is being around all Black sisters. Living in a community with nothing but whites, I felt connected and comfortable.
- My favorite workshop was the sound bowls because it was soooo relaxing.
- The conference was motivating, encouraging, and brought a refreshing source of energy and knowledge.
